The Jackbox Party Pack 3 is a party video game developed and published by Jackbox Games. It is the third installment in The Jackbox Party Pack series, and contains five games: Quiplash 2, Trivia Murder Party, Guesspionage, Tee K.O., and Fakin' It.
New Features
Party Pack 3 introduced several new features:
- Each game now has its own menu screen.
- Twitch Log-In: When enabled, players are required to be logged into Twitch to join a game. (This feature was previously available in Quiplash for PC/Mac and Drawful 2.)
- Manual Censoring, which allows the VIP (first player in) to censor players' answers. (This feature was previously available in Drawful 2.)
- Start Game from Controller Only: When enabled, games must be started through the controller (the host device), not from player devices.
- Allow Room Code Hiding: When enabled, the room code is hidden by default to prevent players from joining early. The host can toggle between unhiding and hiding the room code with a simple key or button press.
- A Leaderboard was added to each game for tracking stats of recent or Twitch-locked games. (This was removed in The Jackbox Party Pack 4.)

The first game in the pack, Guesspionage, was unveiled on June 1st, 2016.[2] (This marks the first time an original game in a party pack was unveiled before the sequel, and wouldn't be repeated until Party Pack 8 in 2021.[3])

The third game, Trivia Murder Party, was announced on Jackbox's Twitter on August 29th, 2016.[5]
The fourth game, Tee K.O., was announced on September 3rd, 2016 during PAX West.[6]
The fifth and final game, Fakin' It, was announced on September 7th, 2016.[7]
A trailer for The Jackbox Party Pack 3 was released on September 15th, 2016[8], however a release date would not be unveiled until October 10th[9]—Party Pack 3 was initially released for Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4, Amazon Fire TV, and Android TV platforms on October 18th, 2016, with the Xbox One version following on October 21st.[9]
The Jackbox Party Pack 3 was later brought over to the Apple TV (4th generation and higher) on December 2nd, 2016[10], followed by the Nintendo Switch on April 13th, 2017.[11]
The game was also available on Comcast's Xfinity X1 platform from January 2018[12], until its removal on June 3rd, 2021.[13]
