Captain Chuck Hull is the host of Joke Boat, voiced by Kevin Sciretta.

Design

Chuck Hull is a stout man who typically wears a shapely-fitting coat, and a curious combination of leggings over boots. He also always sports a captain's hat and one of his hands is replaced with a hook.

His face comprises of a fluffy beard complemented with a mustache. His nose and ears are long and pointed, his eyebrows are curved, and he sports one open eye with the second usually being closed for unknown reasons.

In Tee K.O. 2, he is depicted wearing an orange T-shirt, black shorts, and black shoes.[1]

Personality

Captain Chuck is a typical comedy show host who does his best to keep everyone on their toes—although his role as a captain would be considered dishonorable, as he's mostly careless and irresponsible with the safety of the ship and it’s passengers.

He seems to be one to enjoy the simpler things in life and pursue his interests as written through his Captain’s logs—he’s also very quick to be open about his distresses and insecurities as his little ditties (and also his Captain’s logs at points) before performances commonly spout out in their conclusion.

Appearances

Captain Chuck made his first appearance as the host of Joke Boat from The Jackbox Party Pack 6, where he guides the player through the game.

He also makes cameos in other Jackbox games, such as The Devils and the Details episode "The Case of the Haunted Suburb" as a ghostly sea captain, and in Job Job as an animated goof during the writing phase.

In Tee K.O. 2, Captain Chuck is a playable character.

Captain Chuck also stars in the first Jackbox Toons short, titled "Captain Chuck Hits the Red Carpet".[2]
