Bezerk was an online entertainment network created by Berkeley Systems. The site initially launched in closed beta on October 17th, 1996[1], before the beta was opened to the public on November 11th.[2] Bezerk officially launched on December 3rd, 1996.[3] The site was free to register, and was monetized through in-game interstitial advertising.
Throughout the late 1990s, Bezerk hosted several online games, including YOU DON'T KNOW JACK the netshow, YOU DON'T KNOW JACK Sports the netshow, Acrophobia, What's the Big Idea? (later renamed to Cosmic Consensus), and Get the Picture.
