The Jackbox Party Pack 4 is a party video game developed and published by Jackbox Games, and was released during the week of October 17th, 2017.[1] It is the fourth installment in The Jackbox Party Pack series, and contains five games: Fibbage 3, Survive the Internet, Monster Seeking Monster, Civic Doodle, and Bracketeering.

The most notable new feature in this pack is the ability to adjust the individual volume sliders for each audio element, such as Master, Host, SFX, and Music, in each game.

History

The Jackbox Party Pack 4 was officially announced on April 23rd, 2017, with Fibbage 3 as the first game in the pack.[2]

The second game, Survive the Internet, was announced on June 26th, 2017, with the gameplay being officially unveiled 3 days later.[3]

The third game announced was Monster Seeking Monster on July 27th.[4]

The fourth game in the pack was Civic Doodle, announced on August 24th.[5]

The fifth and final game confirmed for the pack was Bracketeering, announced on August 30th, 2017.[6] The final cover art for The Jackbox Party Pack 4 was unveiled the next day.[7]

On September 27th, Jackbox Games announced that Party Pack 4 would launch on the week of October 17th, beginning with the PlayStation 4 version. The game would then launch on Apple TV (4th generation and later) the following day (October 18th), with versions for Windows, macOS, Nintendo Switch, Android TV, and Amazon Fire TV launching on October 19th. The Xbox One version launched on October 20th.[1]

The Jackbox Party Pack 4 was the first pack to receive an iPad version, which would launch on November 15th, 2017.[8]

The game was also available on Comcast's Xfinity X1 platform from January 2018[9], until its removal on June 3rd, 2021.[10]

Linux support was officially added on January 7th, 2019, alongside the other party packs.[11]
