Joe France is a senior game designer at Jackbox Games.[1]
Career
Joe France began his gaming career as an engineer for 360Ed, Inc., one year after graduating from North Carolina State University in 2008.
Throughout most of his career, he jumped between multiple game studios as designer, including Blue Marble Game Co., GameDesk, codeSpark, and BEGiN.
In 2023, Joe joined Player First Games as a senior systems designer—the studio is best known for developing the fighting game MultiVersus, and were acquired by its publisher Warner Bros. Games in 2024.
Following the closure of Player First Games, Joe joined Jackbox Games as a senior game designer in February of 2025[1]—he is currently part of the design team for Trivia Murder Party 3.[2]
