Fibbage 2 is a trivia video game and one of five games featured in The Jackbox Party Pack 2. It is the sequel to Fibbage, and the second installment in the Fibbage series.

Gameplay

Unlike its predecessor, players could pick what sound effect they'd want to have for answering prompts, of which they could choose one from a list of five on their device.

Much like the original, the game is divided into three rounds: In the first two rounds, a player is randomly selected to pick one of five categories given to them on their device. Once one of them is selected, an incomplete fact will show up on-screen.

The players will have to spew out a lie that may trick people into picking their answer. They can also pick the "Lie For Me" button, which will type out a randomly generated lie from the game that'll give the player half the points if someone gets fooled by it.

When all lies have been entered, both the players and Audience members can pick which answer they think is the truth. The players in the game will also have the choice to use their Defibrillator, which will leave them with two options, one being the lie and the other being the truth, though it can only be used once per game and in the first two rounds. They can also give a like to the answers they liked.

After all answers are in, the lies get picked out one by one. The liars will earn 500 points per player fooled (half the value if they used the Lie For Me button), while players will lose 500 points if they fall for one of the game's lies. The players get 1,000 points apiece if they manage to find the truth.

Round 2 works the same as the first, but with the points doubled, with Cookie reminding them of using their Defibrillators if they haven't used them yet.

In some occasions (although most prevelant in Round 2), the player may pick a category that is related to one of three different fact types, which will trigger a short cutscene:

  • Diagnosis Huh?: This type will show a fact relating to a strange medical condition that someone has been treated with, whether it's an allergy or surgical extraction.
  • Celebrity Quotes of Great Importance: This type will show a quote said by a famous celebrity with a word or phrase missing from said quote.
  • Road Trip: This type will show a strange attraction located in a certain city or town around the globe.

After the first two rounds are finished, players move onto the final round, the Final Fibbage, where they'll be asked about a specific topic that is looking for the answer of a certain fact. Just like the previous two rounds, everyone types in their lies, then vote on the answers, and the truths and lies are revealed.

Once all rounds are finished, all scores are tallied up, and the player with the most points wins. There is also a "Thumbs Up Cup" for the player who got the most likes, if any have been given out. (If an Audience member managed to get all the answers to the facts correctly, then they'll earn a secret fact on their device.)
