Hear Say (stylized as hear say) is an upcoming video game and one of five games featured in The Jackbox Party Pack 11.
The game involves creating sounds (using your voice from your device's microphone) based on a prompt, and competing against fellow players for the best sound effects, which are later presented in a new, visual context.
Gameplay
Upon joining the lobby, the game first asks for microphone permissions, whether they join as a player or the audience—a microphone is required to play the game.
After confirming microphone permissions, the player can record their sound (whether it's a silly sound or just their name) to introduce themselves in the lobby—the sound must be 2 seconds long.

Development
The game's basic premise was first unveiled during the Jackbox Games Direct on April 7th, 2025[1], where it was also revealed that the game would be directed by Alina Constantin, making this her second game she's directed following FixyText.
Near the end of April, Jackbox Games sent out a poll asking for feedback on what the game should be called—the final four chosen were Noice Voice, Noise Voice, Hear Say, and Soundmouth.[2]
On July 22nd, 2025, the game was officially announced with the final name chosen: Hear Say.[3]
