Trivia Murder Party 3 is an upcoming party video game. It is the sequel to Trivia Murder Party 2, as well as the first game in the Trivia Murder Party series to be released as a standalone title.
The game will take place in an old abandoned summer camp, influenced by horror films like Friday the 13th.[1]
It is planned for an early access release on Steam and Epic Games Store in Fall 2025, with additional platforms to come in 2026.[2]
It will not only be the first Jackbox game to incorporate online matchmaking (alongside the classic local play through Jackbox.TV[3]), but also the first to use Unreal Engine 5.[1]
Development
Trivia Murder Party 3 was announced during the Jackbox Games Direct on April 7th, 2025.[3]
During a Jackbox Games Reddit AMA on May 5th, it was revealed that the game would be directed by Spencer Ham, who voiced the franchise's host [REDACTED] in the previous two installments.[4]
On May 9th, 2025, Jackbox Games published the first dev diary for Trivia Murder Party 3 on its website, confirming that the game will be built with Unreal Engine 5.[1]
