FixyText is a party video game and one of five games featured in The Jackbox Party Pack 10.
Gameplay
Players will pick one out of four categories: Flirty, Serious Business, Friends and Family, and Unknown Number. Once one of the categories is selected, the players will be split into two groups, and one of them will receive a message, along with a pre-written text that the group will have to edit with whatever they want, albeit without any sort of deletion of said text.
Once the players use up all of their characters or their time runs out, a text-to-speech voice will read out the entire message, after which, the players in the other group will cast seven votes in total on the words present in the message (except for unedited words in the original message.) They can also double-tap on a word to double the scoring on said word.
When all votes are in, a player will earn 1,000 points for every vote on a word they themselves added, a split amount of points for every word with at least two contributors to it (500 points for two players, 333 for three, and so on,) and a Collaborator Bonus worth 900 points per word they contributed who got at least one vote. The Audience can also cast one vote Then the process is repeated with the other group. After both rounds are concluded, all of the players' scores are shown.
The second round will include the most voted on word and it'll be added to either of the two messages, and the final round will include the username of a player in a group. The rounds will work just the same as the first one.
After all rounds have concluded, the final scores are shown and the winner flies up into the skies, along with five of the most voted words throughout the game.
