The Jackbox Party Pack 2 is a party video game developed and published by Jackbox Games. It is the second installment in The Jackbox Party Pack series, and contains five games: Fibbage 2, Quiplash XL, Bomb Corp, Earwax, and Bidiots.

Following in the footsteps of Quiplash, The Jackbox Party Pack 2 introduces three new options:

  • Family-Friendly Filter, which filters out the most provocative content in Fibbage 2, Quiplash XL, and Earwax.
  • Audience Timers, which extends the timers in Quiplash XL, and causes the answer timer in Fibbage 2 to always run to zero.

The Jackbox Party Pack 2 was announced on September 2nd, 2015, with Fibbage 2 as its first of five games announced for the pack.[1]

The second game, Bomb Corp, was announced on September 18th, 2015[2], followed by the third game, Earwax, on September 25th during TwitchCon.[3]

The fourth game, Bidiots, was unveiled by Polygon on October 3rd, 2015.[4]

The fifth and final game was announced on October 4th: Quiplash XL, an expanded version of Quiplash with the Quip Pack 1 and brand new prompts. The game's release date of October 13th was also unveiled, and was released on that day for Windows, macOS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Amazon Fire TV, and Android TV platforms for $24.99 USD.[5]

The Jackbox Party Pack 2 was later released on the Apple TV (4th generation and higher) on March 15th, 2017[6], followed by the Nintendo Switch on August 17th, 2017.[7]

The game was also brought over to the Xfinity X1 as a paid purchase on March 19th, 2018.[8] The game was later removed from sale on the platform in September of 2020, before being deactivated on June 3rd, 2021.[9]

iPad support was added on November 29th, 2018.[10]

Linux support was added on January 7th, 2019, alongside the other party packs.[11]

On February 24th, 2023, Party Pack 2 received a free update that included improvements to Bomb Corp.[12]
