Audience is a setting and gameplay mechanic.

This option is found in almost every Jackbox game, with the exception of some games like Bidiots, Bomb Corp, Push The Button, and every game in The Jackbox Party Pack.

It makes latecomers have a spot in the game, either by voting (such as in Quiplash), or outright playing the game, such as Split the Room and The Devils and the Details.

"Join Audience" would be greyed out and say "Game has Started" if it was turned off, or one of the games listed for not being able to have Audience.

It is is also possible to turn them off in the Settings tab in the games Menu screen, which the tab will simply say "Game has Started" as opposed to "Join Audience."
