the Jackbox-related side of me

how i got into Jackbox in the first place

my first Jackbox experience was back in 2021, where i was in a random server with some friends and we played a game of og TMP. i didn't win, believe it or not.

i was first obssessed with the game of Job Job from a YouTube streamer, and i was laughing my butt off at the time. later i'd make a Twitch account on June 9th, 2022 just to find some people streaming Jackbox, and then got immersed into it for a while, and before i knew it, i was hooked completely.

after many months of playing the games, i found out about the classic YDKJ games, of which i did NOT know that the "Jackbox lore" would go that far.

and well, the rest is history.

other facts

nowadays, my favorite Jackbox games are the ones in the Drawful series (except for Drawful 2,) but i got a REAL soft spot for Weapons Drawn; and if it weren't for Drawful being my favorite game series from the Jackbox franchise, it would've been the one top-tier game in my books.

i also tend to do sbubby posts of Jackbox titles for fun, if you've checked the official Jackbox Discord Server, or perhaps other servers from other Twitch streamers.

i also have a separate YouTube channel dedicated to uploading Jackbox-related videos, most of which are lyric videos from the credit themes of miscellaneous Jackbox titles

the non-Jackbox-related side of me

a doodle of my forementioned ice cream character

back in ye olden days, i used to be part of the Object Show Community, and i'd make various drawings related to the shows and stuff like that; which is the primary reason why my username on pretty much everything i actually use goes by the name of "teardropicecream" or something similar, considering my character is a "hybrid" of Teardrop (from Battle For Dream Island a.k.a my favorite character at the time) and a regular ice cream cone, of which i made back in April 16th, 2020 (yes, my character is that old.)

why did that combo strike to me is not really that deep. i just thought "hm. what thing should i combine Teardrop with?" and that's it. but overall, i've continuously been using him since i've drawn him for the first time.

my distancing from the OSC

after a while, i've kinda gotten bored of object shows, and thus, i've started distancing myself from the fandom; not in a bad way, of course. i just felt like i didn't fit in with the audience anymore, so meh

over the following years, i have still drawn stuff with my character, and i still use the same stickman drawing style that people use in the show, but i distance myself from the OSC.

the part where i talk about that show with ducks that deliver bread or something like that

i'm also an extremely big fan of the frankly overhated show: Breadwinners. i've been watching it throughout the years and it's been one of the best cartoons i've ever watched, and the reason why i'm extremely obssessed with it now is primarily because of the "Paramount+ incident," or, to put it in less exaggerated terms, the show being straight up removed from its library.

on a sidenote, i've been working on a game related to Breadwinners called "You Don't Know Quack," which is obviously a YDKJ-inspired game, since February 2025. as i'm writing this, i've so far written about 20 and a half complete episodes with 6 questions apiece; which may not sound like a lot, but you gotta realize the show has 2 seasons in all, it's not an easy job to write various questions about how much gas Buhdeuce lets out per episode.

when will this project come out? definitely in the fore-seeing future, i'm only writing the script for the episodes so far, so the development line is barely even done.
