Drawful 2 is a party video game, and a sequel to Drawful, released on June 21st, 2016 as a standalone game.[2]
Drawful 2 added several new features that were new to the Jackbox Party Pack franchise, including the ability to make your own episodes with custom prompts, manual censoring moderation (VIP only), and post-game sharing. It also added other features from the previous Jackbox games that were absent from the first Drawful, including a family-friendly filter, extended timers, Twitch log-in, and Audience.[2]
On May 6th, 2021, Drawful 2 received a major update (dubbed the International Update) that localized the game in four additional languages: Castilian Spanish, French, German, and Italian. It also added new options, such as room code hiding, subtitles, improved moderation, profanity filter, passworded game, and max players.[3]
Gameplay
Everyone will be given a prompt on their device of which they'll have to draw as best as they can by using the two colors at their disposal.
Once all of the drawings have been submitted, one of them will show up on-screen, and the other players will type out a title that could trick the others into thinking it's the real one. When everyone's lies have been entered, all players (including the Audience) will have to guess which of the titles was the one that originally inspired the drawing. They can also give out bonus likes to the prompts that the player liked the most.
When all players have chosen their prompts, they'll show up on-screen, revealing whether the answer was the real title or a lie entered by another player. The player who wrote said lie will earn 500 points per player fooled and a percentage of a 1,000 point pool for the amount of members in the Audience fell for their lie. The players who manage to find the real title will earn 1,000 points for themselves, and 1,000 points will be given to the artist per player who managed to guess the true title.
After all rounds and drawings have been finalized, a final leaderboard will be shown, with the player who earned the most amount of points overall winning the game. After that, a board will honorably show the player(s) who got the most likes.
