Audience is a setting and gameplay mechanic.

This option is found in almost every Jackbox game, with the exception of some games like Bidiots, Bomb Corp, Push The Button, and every game in The Jackbox Party Pack.

It makes latecomers have a spot in the game, either by voting (such as in Quiplash), or outright playing the game, such as Split the Room and The Devils and the Details.

A room with audience enabled, where you can join the Audience and play along.

It is also possible to turn them off in the Settings tab in the games Menu screen, which the tab will simply say "Game has Started" as opposed to "Join Audience."
