The '''<u>first round</u>''' will have all players will receive two different subjects on their device that they'll have to choose from. Once one of them is picked, their selected prompt and another already chosen by the game will appear, of which they'll then complete the scenario with something that could ruin said subject ''(like a picnic, but the food is moldy.)'' Upon joining the lobby, each player will have to pick one of eight colored flame avatars, each having a unique expression.

When all answers have been submitted, one of the prompts will show up, along with two of the players' answers in a ''[[Quiplash (series)|Quiplash]]''-styled fashion. The other players will vote on which answer they think best ruined the scenario. The players facing off will earn a percentage of points depending on how many people vote for their answer.

Doominate (stylized as DOOMINATE) is an upcoming video game and one of five games featured in The Jackbox Party Pack 11.

The game involves players competing head-to-head on who "ruined" a pleasant joke the best.

Gameplay

Upon joining the lobby, each player will have to pick one of eight colored flame avatars, each having a unique expression.

The game is divided into three rounds; each involve taking something nice (e.g. A Big Bowl of Spaghetti) and adding something (e.g. Made from the finest human hair) to "ruin" it.

The first round will have all players receive two different subjects on their device that they'll have to choose from to "ruin". Once one of them is picked, their selected prompt and another already chosen by the game will appear, of which they will then complete the scenario with something that could "ruin" said subject. Players can also tap the "Ruin it For Me" button, which will complete the scenario with a game-generated answer.

After all answers are submitted, one of the prompts will show up (depicted by two angels), along with two of the players' answers in a Quiplash-like fashion. The other players will then vote on which answer they think best ruined the scenario. The players facing off will earn a percentage of points depending on how many people vote for their answer. (If all players and the audience vote for the same answer, the winning player receives a "Doomination".)

In-between each round, the scoreboard is shown on-screen.

In the second round, the players will receive two writing prompts, which will ask them about what their favorite thing out of a certain category (like a TV show, movie, etc.) This also includes an "Gimme One" button, which (just like "Ruin It For Me") will submit a random subject depending on the category. After all players have submitted their answers, the players will then choose one of two answers that was submitted by another player that they'll have to ruin.

The voting phase in this round works exactly the same as the first, but the answer that earns the vote of the player who ruined said subject will earn a "Judgement Vote" bonus. The points are also worth double in this round.

In the third (and final) round, the players receive a few answers from the previous two rounds, and they'll have to pick two of the prompts they want to "unruin". The answers include the prompt, the previous answer that ruined it, and their own answer that "unruins" it. The voting phase works the same as the previous two, but with the points tripled. (Unlike the previous two rounds, if all players and the audience vote for the same answer, the winning player receives a "Redoomption".)

After all the rounds have concluded, all the scores will be tallied up, and the player with the most points at the end of the game wins.

Development

The game's basic premise was first unveiled during the Jackbox Games Direct on April 7th, 2025[1], where it was also revealed that the game would be directed by Brooke Breit, who previously directed Job Job, Roomerang, and Dodo Re Mi.

The game's title, Doominate, and its gameplay were unveiled during PAX East 2025 on May 9th, 2025.[2]
